拉夫堡大学是位于郡莱斯特拉夫堡的一所英国顶尖名校，世界一流大学。是M5大学联盟和1994大学联盟创始成员之一。拉夫堡大学的历史可以追溯到1909年建立的拉夫堡学院，1966年晋升为大学。经过一个世纪的发展，拉夫堡大学已成为英国的顶尖名校。拉夫堡商学院位列世界顶尖商学院Top 1%，同时被AACSB，EQUIS和AMBA 认证。拉夫堡大学商科专业也全英亦然稳居前10名。
英国自从1994年设立高等教育女王年度奖以来，拉大共获得七次。英国大学最高荣誉奖--英国女王年度奖，获奖次数仅次于牛津大学。拉夫堡大学在2015 The TIMES and Sunday TIMES University Guide英国大学排名中名列第13名，在2016年英国《完全大学指南》和英国《卫报》大学排名中均名列第11名。The Times Higher Education 在2007年的"全国学生调查"显示，在全日制大学的学生满意度一项中，拉夫堡大学名列榜首。
